Recertification Planning Tool
Get tips and tools to create a plan for recertification by understanding how many CEUs are needed, what type of activities count as CEUs and key information to help you navigate continuing education and recertification.
This tool will help you plan out your CEUs in the current recertification cycle. You are not required to fill it out, but it can help spread the cost of CEUs over the three-year period.

Required CEUs for Multiple Certifications
Individuals with multiple NSCA certifications can use the chart below to identify the number of required CEUs. CEUs can count toward multiple certifications as long as the date of the CEU activity is later than the date on the certification you are applying it toward.

What you need to know

CEUs do not need to be earned in every category, but you must have CEUs in at least two different categories.

CEUs reported beyond the maximum listed above will not count toward recertification.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Make sure your CEUs align with the scope of practice for your certification(s).
DOCUMENTATION
Keep documentation of your completed CEUs to submit if you are chosen for the random audit.
