NSCA has a network of volunteer leaders who direct NSCA’s efforts at the state and provincial level. NSCA’s Northeast Regional Coordinator provides oversight and training to local state and provincial directors. Regional Coordinator: Lyndie Kelley, CSCS,*D, NSCA-CPT,*D

Lyndie Kelley is the Coordinator of Strength and Conditioning at the University of New England (UNE) in Biddeford, ME. She is responsible for working with all 17 varsity athletics programs at UNE and serves as a Laboratory Instructor for the Department of Exercise and Sport Performance. Her interests are in mentoring/developing young professionals and the balance between the art and science of coaching. She is particularly passionate about increasing the performance resources available to NCAA DIII student-athletes.

Connecticut

Joel DeMarco has been an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Connecticut for 5 years where he oversees training programs for Baseball, Women's Ice Hockey and Women's Volleyball. Prior to UConn, he served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Trinity College for all 29 sports. His interests include training for strength and power sports, developing young professionals in the field, and team/leadership building.

Massachusetts

Adam Feit is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Springfield College (MA). He is also the co-owner of TF Performance, a youth training facility based in western Massachusetts. Feit specializes in high-performance consulting and teaching within the areas of coaching education, sport and exercise psychology, strength and conditioning, and nutrition.

Maine

Kelsey Bisson is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Coastal Performance Training Center, located in Maine. Her interests include performance training post-rehabilitation, the female athlete (of all ages), and postpartum women.

Terique Boyd is currently a strength and conditioning coach at Long Island University where he is primarily responsible for the athletic development of the women’s basketball and softball programs, as well as the men’s and women’s swimming programs. Boyd also serves on the NSCA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee as the Educational Taskforce Liaison.

Rhode Island

Jason Sawyer is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of the Wellness and Exercise Science Major at Rhode Island College, and the Rhode Island NSCA State Director. His active research interests include the effects of physical activity on mental health. He has completed both short- and long-term studies examining the effects of resistance training on self-reported feelings of depression and anxiety, and has presented his research findings at the state and regional level.

Vermont

Spencer Brown is the Director of Strength & Conditioning at Dartmouth College overseeing 30 varsity sports. He lives in Hartford, Vermont with his wife and two children.

Bianca Paiement is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Premier Performance. She has been working in the private sector for several years with a focus on athletic development and rehabilitation. Paiement is also a rugby sports coach at the provincial level. Her interests include developing and educating youth athletes, and public education on the role of strength and conditioning.

Nova Scotia

Shauna Forsyth is the owner and operator of Maritime Strength and Conditioning, located in Windsor, Nova Scotia. She specializes in sports performance training for youth and high school athletes and provides personal training and injury reconditioning for the general public. She is also the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the King's-Edgehill School Prep Athletics Program.
